Questions parents often ask

The details families most often want to check before we begin — funding and rebates, sessions, and how getting started actually works.

Yes, I welcome NDIS participants. However, I am not a Registered NDIS Provider. This means I can specifically support children whose NDIS plans are either Self-Managed or Plan-Managed.

Please note that I am unable to see participants whose funding is 'NDIA Managed' (Agency Managed). If you are unsure which management type your child has, you can find this information in your child's NDIS plan or by checking with your Early Childhood Partner or Local Area Coordinator.

Once we decide to work together, I can provide a Service Agreement that outlines our partnership, fees, and how we will work toward your child's NDIS goals. This ensures total transparency and clarity for your plan reviews.

Yes, many families are able to access rebates to help subsidise the cost of therapy.

Private Health Insurance: Most private health funds provide rebates for speech pathology services. Since every fund and level of cover is different, I recommend contacting your provider directly to confirm your specific entitlements for 'Speech Pathology.' I will provide you with a full tax invoice after each session to make your claiming process straightforward.

If your child has a chronic or complex condition, your GP may be able to provide a 'Chronic Disease Management' (CDM) plan. This allows you to claim a partial rebate for up to five sessions per calendar year. Please ensure you have this plan in place and bring a copy to our initial consultation.

Please note that I do not offer bulk billing, and you cannot claim both a Private Health rebate and a Medicare rebate for the same session.
